18 second minimum with 6
second increments.
Calls are billed an 18 second minimum and 6 second increments
thereafter. No bill for unanswered calls. Billing would be received from
PowerNet Global.

accounts.
The utility would receive monthly reports showing the billing for all
accounts.

Paperless sign-ups.
The paperless option allows the caller to dial a unique toll free
number. The utility has the capability of placing their own greeting,
such as: “Thank you for choosing (Utility/Group name) long distance
service.” The toll free number dialed designates the name of the utility
and rate to charge the customer. The utility does have the option of
getting on the PowerNet web site to view the status of customers being
signed up.

cost” way to build a revenue stream for future technology.

PowerNet Global whose
offices are in Cincinnati, OH, has been in business since 1992. They
currently have over 500,000 customers. There are 30+ Utilities currently
selling their long distance services. They are a distributor for several
of the major long distance companies. PowerNet is the largest Qwest
reseller in the country.

all 48 states (excluding Alaska & Hawaii). Intrastate rates vary by
state.
